About to start all over again

Almost 2 full years have passed since our first IVF. We've been through a lot in that time, including a frozen embryo transfer (FET) in December of 2009. It was unsuccessful, so we were put back on the wait list for a fresh cycle. We couldn't afford to do a fresh cycle as soon as we would have liked, so we told the clinic we would need to wait.

In the meantime, we ended up selling our house and buying my mom's house which we moved into with her and all of our animals. Over the last 6 months, we lost Missy, Duffy, Baby, and on November 14, we lost my precious Stevie. Stevie was my "baby", the animal that made not being a mom less unbearable, and I found that after losing her, I missed not having a baby/babies more than I have in years.

We took 2 trips this year; one to Las Vegas in September for just the 2 of us, and then a family trip to Hawaii with mom and Mike from December 6 - 16. It was a lot of fun, and very relaxing. And hopefully the last trip before we finally have kids.

Now that our trip is over, we have let the Calgary clinic know we are ready to start an IVF cycle any time. I want to get more active and eat healthy over the next 2 months before the actual egg retrieval, as I want to be able to stay somewhat active while pregnant.

I'm currently on the pill to maintain a regular cycle, and I'm also on PregVit (twice a day to help reduce the nausea I normally get with prenatals), and am about to start Metformin.

We're in the process of transferring the money for our IVF from our savings, so we are pretty much ready to go. Here's hoping!
